Barbara's background is in teaching, with a specialization in Early Childhood Education.
After completing her English degree at the University of Calgary, Barbara moved to South Korea where she taught English for two years.
Upon her return to Calgary, she decided to get her Education degree to further her career as a teacher. For 15-years she taught Kindergarten and other elementary grades.
As Thermal Creek grew and became more and more in need of HR and administrative professional assistance, Barbara decided to make the switch and join the team.
In her spare time, Barbara enjoys writing, traveling and spending time with her family. In 2026 she published her first book: Born from the Heart.
